Personal Comments: There are many good reviews about this show despite the low ratings in korea, I didn't exactly love nor like it but it was ok. Yoona's acting was surprisingly good, the kids in this show were super super cute and probably the best thing about this show.

    - Bel Ami // Pretty Man

    Synopsis

Dok Go Ma Te is a macho with an impeccable appearance who has shaken up ten of the top 1% it-girls in South Korea. He is about to share some tips on ‘how to get a girl’. Among his women, there is an ordinary girl who falls in love with Ma Te and her name is Kim Bo Tong. The story becomes more interesting when Bo Tong starts to do things to win his heart and the unpredictable romance finally starts.
Personal Comments: I watched this with low expectations, thinking it will be super silly but surprisingly the story was good.... the acting from the main leads is also solid except Lee Jang Woo whom character in the show is likable but the acting was just *thumbs down* IU's character was so good, i was expecting her character to be like jung so min's character in playful kiss, dumb but cute, think only about the man she loves and not herself but Kim Bo Tong aka IU's character is cute, strong, protective, realistic when she needs to be. Overall the big flaw of this show is the lack of romance, i was expecting romance between the main leads but it pretty much only happen towards the last few episodes, still worth the 16 hours to watch though so do give it a try!

    - The Heirs
    9.5/10
    8.5/10

    Synopsis

A romantic comedy about high school students living in top 1% high society, learning about love and friendship. Things get turned topsy turvy when the students end up getting tangled with a girl from lower class who is the heir of "poverty", and romance unfolds.

    Personal Comments:
Cons-> 1. The first half of the show was..... mehhh
    2. Lee Min Ho and Park Shinhye barley have chemistry but it's pretty obvious why Park shinhye is choosen by screenwriter Kim Eun Sook. Heirs need a female lead that is already popular, pretty, acts well, young enough to pull off as a 18 year old, well loved by viewers and park shinhye is probably the only one that fits all the criteria well.
    3. Park Shinhye's lips haha only those that watch her drama before will understand this ;)
    4. The storyline was just plain.... tbh if i have to choose between the storyline between reply me 1997 and this, i'll rather choose reply me 1997.
Pros -> 1. Lee Min Ho, Park Shinhye, Kim Woo Bin, Krystal, Min Hyuk, Choi Jin Hyuk, Kang Ha Nuel, Park Hyung Shik together in a drama written by Kim Eun Sook? a must watch already
    2. The first half of the show wasn't attractive enough but the second half was so addicting ahhhh the last few episodes were the best. Secret Garden written by Kim Eun Sook has the same flaw, the second half was so perfect but the first half was just boring , but if i have to choose between having the first or second half better, I'll choose second half duhh because if the back is good who cares about the front?
    3. The storyline was saved by the characters in the show, i love how screenwriter kim eun sook always make her characters so memorable, not only the leads but also the more minor characters. Although it has a big star studded cast i don't find any of the characters overshadowed which is something not any screenwriter could do. Lee Min Ho and Park shinhye's character's personality reminds me of Secret Garden's hyun bin and ha ji won's character haha. The writer made all the characters so lovable, yup i even love Rachel's character, although she's been mean to cha eun sung ( park shinhye ) she's just trying to protect her engagement with lee min ho although she decided to use the wrong way but at least she didn't do something really extreme. Krystal, Lee Min Ho, Kim Woo Bin and Park Hyung Shik character in the show were extremely cute gahhhhhhh.
    4. The acting was great from all the characters ( i mean most oops ), even krystal whom i didn't expect much from delivered a good performance as the lovable and harmlessly cute Lee Bo Na
    5. Great OST hehe
Overall, probably a drama all drama lovers will watch whether you like the storyline or not having to create such a big hype, also don't give up even if it bores you when you first start watching it, the second half makes it all worth it.

    - Cyrano Dating Agency
    9.5/10
    9/10

    • Genre: Romance, comedy

    Synopsis

This drama is about a dating agency that orchestrates romantic scenarios for paying clients, all in an effort to raise enough money to save an old theater.
After Seo Byung Hoon (Lee Jong Hyuk) loses his best friend in an accident, the once-renowned theater director suffers from guilt and decides to save his late friend’s theater troupe. Using his masterful stage skills, he forms the Cyrano Dating Agency.

Personal Comments: A show that i gave up on after 2 episodes but i decided to give it a try again after almost half a year and i'm glad i did. I was surprised by the chemistry between all the leads, and wow sooyoung acts well, she's one of the idol stars that act well, she deserves much more credit but sadly she's not one of the more popular snsd member so she doesn't get more or bigger acting opportunities like the other members whom some.... don't exactly deserve it *cough* Although it gets a little boring at times but most of the time its funny and somehow makes my heart melt literally haha. Still kinda wondering why this only got an average of 0.2 ratings, yes i know its on a cable channel but hey its on tvn which set viewer ratings as high as 10% before. Officially name this my favourite among the tvn flower boy series.

The 'future-self' comes to ‘me’ today and gives advices about life and marriage. The future-self is trying to bring better life by helping her to meet a perfect spouse.--KBS World
This drama will tell the story about a 57 year-old woman named Na Mi Rae (Choi Myung Gil) from 2038, a television broadcast writer, travels back in time to meet her 32-year-old self (Yoon Eun Hye) from 2013 with the goal of preventing her marriage to Kim Shin (Lee Dong Gun) and thus send her past self down a different path in life.
Personal Comments: complete waste of talent, the drama had such a perfect cast but the story T_T. The reason why people watch this till the end is probably because of the cast, as for me its yonghwa. If your looking for something fun, romantic, comedy, logical with a likable main couple you came to the wrong drama. I love all 4 of the main cast although i have to admit i like yonghwa and han chae ah aka the second main leads more than the actual couple, their character in the show are also more likable. Acting was good for this show, although i'm a huge yonghwa fan but i have to admit his acting in the past was... bad but he improved a lot for this show! :) I don't even want to remind myself about yoon eun hye's aka mirae's hairstyle.... i don't get it why the show's stylist give her this hairstyle when it's not even needed, not as if she's given a big makeover in the show. *rolls eye*In conclusion don't watch, *sorry yonghwa*

    Synopsis

Personal Comments: I initially gave up on the show after the first episode because i found it quite boring and the posters look super dull but i tried it again and yup i love it! Although the drama don't focus on romance, but this show probably has the most kisses and yup the romance between the leads are so damn cute. *screams*This drama is full of twist and unexpected stuff happening that most viewers complained about being confused, i didn't get confuse until the last 5 minutes of the show ( no spoilers here ). Don't be fooled by the dull and boring poster and give it a try! :-)

These secrets drive the four characters desire to find love and exact revenge.--KBS World
This drama will depict how a man falls in love with a woman who killed his lover. It is the story about a man who doesn't believe in love and a woman who believes in love but gets betrayed by love. Min Hyuk is a rich guy who has everything but a good personality, and burns with revenge after he found out his lover was killed in a hit-and-run accident. Yoo Jung is a woman who takes blame for those accident. She is a woman who refuses to give up on life even though she′s been thrown into despair. She goes to prison in her boyfriend’s place who causes the hit-and-run accident but she gets betrayed in the end.

Personal Comments: It started off slow but the last two episodes were so damn good gawd. Although its a melodrama it was fun to watch, also it has its little funny moments too. The main cast acted so well i felt that the characters were actually made for them.... hwang jung eum aka the female lead was a little awkward to watch at first probably because her face looks really unatural due to plastic surgery ( she looks wayyyy prettier before it ) but after the second episode i got use to it and her acting makes her stiff face something that viewers don't even bother anymore. Melodrama of the year hehe.

Because of his hot temper, he causes trouble. His management company then orders him to carry himself as an ideal student. He joins a music band at school, while facing unexpected events.

Personal Comments: Somehow this gives me a very strong feeling of reply me 1997, it started off very well and i loved it so much but towards the middle it kinda went downhill a little but overall i still like it. I had high expectations for this as it's by the directer-writer whom done Sungkyunkwan Scandal, i can't say i'm disappointed because i really enjoyed it but the last episode was.......before i watched this show i already read many reviews about the confusing ending so i was mentally prepared to not like it anyway. The music and friendship part of the story was good, the cast made out of acting rookies did a good job, i surprisingly love the main cast as much as reply me 1997's main cast... (almost as much)

Personal Comments: Anybody watch the teasers before watching this show? I did and it was kinda misleading, one of the teasers make the show seem so romantic and the other make it seem so scary but tbh both wasn't shown in the actual drama but i have to admit i really enjoyed it. A more realistic version of similar storyline show, Master Sun, and nope it doesn't feel like master sun when i'm watching because of the seriousness of this show and while master sun focus more on ummm romance and comedy. I've seen people say Taecyeon's acting is still as bad but well i think he improved a lot since dream high and his pretty good, overall worth a try especially for fans of show like 49 days and master sun because of the similar theme and yes i enjoyed all 3.

Personal Comments: One of the reason why i didn't enjoy this show as much is probably because i watch this right after master sun which i'm still having a big problem of not being able to get over it T_T I really love Joo Won and Moon Chae Won, not only they both are good in acting, they are like a visual couple that looks pretty together. My first medical korean drama and yup i didn't really fall in love with it but it was good enough to keep me happy while watching it.

Furthermore, he discovers that he has a daughter who is now suffering from leukemia. The drama spans exactly two weeks, and tells about Tae San's desperate struggles to save his daughter.

Personal Comments: This have to be one of the most perfect script i have seen in any korean dramas, it was FLAWLESS or at least i didn't notice anything wrong or stupid. I was in dilemma if i should give it a 10/10 for how much i have enjoyed it but i gave a 9.5 in the end pretty much because i didn't completely enjoy the middle although i have to admit the script was written smartly and entertaining, i enjoyed the ending and starting completely. The little girl is super super super cute gawd, she acts really well too and her character in the show is written so well i just love her so much and she has so much chemistry with her papa in the show aka lee jun ki. I think the acting was good for all the characters, Lee Jun Ki and Kim So Yun was beyond good and i kinda feel that they have more chemistry than the leading couple aka lee jun ki and park ha sun but well love isn't one of the focus of this show anyway. I kinda understand why this show got kinda poor ratings in korea although it deserves much better.... it was competing with master sun which receive high ratings throughout the run and tbh i kinda enjoyed master sun more but i have to admit quality wise (script) this is better than master sun. Oh and did i mention how much i love the author? So Hyun Kyung, she also did 49 days that i see some similarities with this idk how but i do somehow, Prosecutor Princess and also Brilliant Legacy.

Personal Comments: I think this is the first time i see a drama being popular online //  have good viewer ratings in korea and everyone i mean really everyone that watch it love it and yes i'm one of them. Episode 1-16 was so super perfect, exciting, sweet, cute and never boring it's been so long since i found a drama like that :') well but every drama has its flaw, and this drama's flaw is the last two episode, it was a little messy as the drama was suppose to be 16 ep but extent till 18 episodes but i still love it so much. I'm so glad i chose to watch this drama as i was completing between this and shark, although i chose shark at first due to my love for son ye jin and i don't really like the director's previous work, cheongdamdong alice but it was so boring so i stop at ep 2 and started on this and wow i love it starting from ep 1. A MUST WATCH ^_^ ALTHOUGH I DON'T EXACTLY LIKE HAVING THE GIRL LEAD OLDER THAN THE MALE LEAD ( aka noona romance ) BUT THEY HAVE SUPER GOOD CHEMISTRY AND ARE DAMN DAMN DAMN CUTE TOGETHER OMG *fangirl lee jong suk* idk if this is a spoiler but don't read if you haven't finish this drama: the ending was suppose to be bad, lee jong suk dying for the girl lead but it was release by reporters before the ending thus the writer change the ending to a better one ;) so glad that this happen hahaha

Personal Comments: A drama that i've been looking forward to ever since they announced the director and the leads.. this drama received mix reviews but i'm one of those that really enjoyed this! Filled with familiar faces as the cast, miss a's suzy from dream high, lee seung gi from my girlfriend is a gumiho, sung joon from lie to me, lee yoo bi from nice guy and many more. This is kinda like a mixture of action with melodrama with a spoon of humour.. the screenwriter did a really good job of making every minor character so interesting and cute but well the middle of the story was a little laggy but overall it's still good. This drama also included a papa and mama gumiho love story that well sometimes receive more attention and love than the lead characters love story.
    * SPOILER ARLET *
the ending, well many people didn't like or even hated it but honestly i think it was good and beautiful, it's much better than what is expected like a looking at the starts together ending or acting cute with each other, the ending shows how deep their love is especially Kang Chi's love that made him wait for her for 422(?) years.. it was a really unexpected and special ending and also it suggest maybe a sequel but i doubt so cause k dramas don't usually do sequels and if they do it's always different actors/actress that makes the show.... ): I hope they would come up with a short tv movie or movie for the ending to satisfy viewers like how taiwan drama " fierce wife/ shrewed wife " did.

Personal Comments: Although it's a bit laggy and slow story but I enjoyed it ^~^ The main lead girl ( choi kang hee ) is old compared to Joo Won and looks kinda annoying when I first started watching ( i stopped watching protect the boss halfway because of her ) this but after a while she's kinda cute paired up with Joo Won. Both the main lead guys are really really cute in the drama and the ending is just cuteness overload hehe but the storyline is really week and disappointing with poor directing at times )-:

  • Synopsis

A romantic comedy about a girl named Go Dok Mi who locks her self in her ′tower′ from the world, is caught spying on the man living next door by Enrique Geum.
Enrique Geum is a genius creative director, who is good-looking, stylish and bohemian and can′t get enough of soccer. He will form a love line with Go Dok Mi.
Go Dok Mi is a ′city Rapunzel′ who never ventures outdoors, yet has her own set of charms that makes men go weak.
Go Dok-mi (in Korean, literally "lonely beauty") is a shy, frugal freelance copy editor who, for a yet-to-be-revealed reason, refuses to leave her apartment or interact with people as much as possible. Everyday, she anonymously receives a carton of milk with a post-it attached. Everyday, using a pair of yellow binoculars, she steals peeks at her neighbor across the street, Han Tae-joon as he goes through his daily morning routine. The last time she was outside, in a park on an autumn day, she had fallen in love with Tae-joon at first sight, following him and watching as he picked up a puppy in a box and took it home. When she looked out her window and saw him living in the apartment opposite hers, she thought of it as fate. Webtoon artist Oh Jin-rak lives in the same apartment building as Dok-mi. He and his drawing partner Oh Dong-hoon have just finished their latest webtoon "Zombie Soccer," but it wasn't picked up because it supposedly plagiarized a video game by Enrique Geum. Jin-rak pitches a new story to persuade his editor-in-charge Kim Seul-gie: the everyday life of this one girl trapped in her apartment, and how her next-door neighbor draws her out into the world... and it'll be called "Flower Boy Next Door." Enrique Geum arrives in Seoul from Spain, his reason for coming is "cupid's arrow." Though he's in love with his best friend Yoon Seo-young, she has feelings instead for his older cousin, Han Tae-joon, so he intends to play cupid for the two. When Enrique comes to stay at Tae-joon's apartment, he catches Dok-mi in the act. That same day, a new neighbor Watanabe Ryu moves into the apartment next to Dok-mi's (Jin-rak lives on her other side). And with all these new men suddenly entering her life, Dok-mi's solitary and orderly world is turned upside down.

Personal Comments: Its a really really cute drama with cute main leads but I just can't find myself thoroughly enjoying :/
